Alejandro Posadas Representing Latin America in the Global Alliance for Justice Education
Alejandro Posadas, Director of Graduate Studies in Law at the School of Government and Public Transformation – Tecnológico de Monterrey, was elected as a new member of the Executive Committee of the biennial Global Alliance for Justice Education (GAJE) conference, becoming one of two representatives from Latin America.
GAJE is a global alliance of professionals committed to the access to and administration of justice through quality education. Its actions seek to promote the exchange of information and academic experiences in Law, and involve practicing lawyers who work as as judges, NGO members, or in other areas. The congress during which Dr. Posadas was elected took place from July 22 to 28, 2015, at the Anadolu University Law School in Turkey, with the participation of 350 representatives from all over the world.
In an interview, Dr. Posadas stated that his objective is to facilitate the advancement of the organization’s goals and purposes, in particular the goal of Law education for justice in Latin America.
“I am delighted,” he said, “that we have this constructive space with global reach for academic and instructional participation, that benefits our students and the public interest in general.” Transformative leaders like Dr. Posadas remind us that a new Mexico is in the making.
